If you’ve ever tried to pin down an exact recipe for fried potatoes and onions from someone’s grandmother, you probably got the same answer I always did: “Oh, I just make it by feel.” Well, today I’m doing my best to show you what that actually looks like.

There’s no measuring cup involved here — just watching the texture, listening to the sizzle, and knowing when things are ready by sight and smell.
